During the Pregnancy...

It has been so long since I last update the blog. Little Huang is now born. It's a baby boy, name Huang Tian Jie Ryan.

During pregnancy...

I think I'm the luckier one suffered no morning sickness, Only vomited 3 times in total. 1ST time was at work, 2nd time at home and 3rd time in the train.

I do not like the pregnancy initially. Only after I see the scan of my baby, it's like a miracle! A little life is there lying in my tummy, and each time it is growing bigger.

His grandma was so excited over Ryan, prepare all the baby stuff awaiting for little Huang's arrival.

When I saw the BB stuff and buy the BB clothes, I really can't imagine that there will be a little boy playing in our house... our own little boy. The BB clothes were so tiny, I thought I could give Cash, my doggy, to wear.

Being pregnant, I can't walk as fast as usual... I walk like a penguine.. hahaha... Carrying a big tummy walking around. Going to work is quite troublesome sometime, other than walking like a penguine, I got to be really careful with the morning crowds, so I will always miss a few train fo the lesser crowd one.

1.5 weeks before birth...

Wow... it was really tough. I got rash all over my arms, tummy and legs... and is the super itchy kind. Really terrible!

A few days before birth...

I started to feel a bit cramp in the early morning on Saturday, but only once. Then Sunday afternoon I started to feel cramp, but still bearerable. I didn't know it's a sign of labouring cuz I thought it could be a false alarm and dare not to put too much hope... I still walk to clementi central for dinner. I still remember is Bak Kut Teh which I had. When I was back, as usual I went to bath and get ready to sleep, but with the cramp still on. So I was unable to sleep, keep counting the intervals it's like every 4 to 5 minutes the cramp come. Until, 2am since I can't sleep, asked Douglas to send me to the hospital.

Labour...

My cervix had opened up to 3cm when the doctor measured. Then I was advised to stay in, and directly I was being sent to the Labour room. It was quite exciting, I saw the bed which my baby will be sleeping there later. Keep listening to the heart beat of my little baby in my tummy, wondering when will he be out...

My water bag burst at around 3.30am on Monday morning. By 10am, my cervic had opened up to 9cm, 1 more cm to birth. I thought he will be out soon. By then, I had the urge to push when the cramp comes. The nurses keep asking me not to push... but I can't control, I was frustrated with the pain (it's like constipation for 10yrs). How I wished that the baby could be out of my tummy and stop making me suffer.

Then the nurse ask me to push as they are ready. When I pushed during the cramp, my muscle got tightened, so they cut my virginal. It wasn't painful with the cut, more pain with the cramp and the urge to pass motion.

The count was "PUSH! 1 2 3...10". After some rounds of pushing, "BLAGE.." something is out. The urge is gone. Then I heard my bb crying. Finally... carrying my little ryan, so unbelievable...

The creation of Little Huang...

Knowing that there is a little life in my tummy was unbelieveable. Seeing it using the ultra scan yesterday, was like a miracle being created. The feeling of seeing it was spectacular! I never know that being a mother soon feels so great!

I always thought pregnant was only pain. But only when we see that little life in my body, all the pain are worth.

My baby is now 9.6weeks (2.5 months), my tummy seems getting a bigger. Hope that my baby grows fit and healthy!
